$25 “Early-Bird” Registration (Register by February 8, 2013 to get your “Early-Bird” discount.)  $35 Late Registration.  Students FREE – Bring Your Resume!  Registration begins January 7, 2013 online.  Payment in advance via credit or debit cards is strongly encouraged.  Registrations at the door (walk-ins) will be accommodated until seating capacity is reached, and payment via credit or debit cards is again strongly encouraged.

 

Keynote Speaker:  Dr. Ahmed Naumaan, National Dean for the College of Engineering and Information Sciences at Devry University.  You will want to come hear Dr. Naumaan’s presentation as we “Celebrate Awesome” during this year’s National Engineering Week.

 

At Devry University’s College of Engineering, Dr. Naumaan is responsible for the leadership and oversight of the college and steering the course of degree programs, including curriculum management, course development, and culturing academic excellence.  He has also served as Dean for the School of Information Systems and Technology at Kaplan University, Associate Dean for Engineering at NTU School of Engineering and Applied Science at Walden University, and as faculty member in Computer Science and Engineering department of the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.

 

In Practice, Dr. Naumaan has worked in industry as an engineer and as a manager in product development and in research on solid-state sensors and integrated optical devices.  He has been a member of organizing committees for several national and international conferences and workshops, served as guest editor for the IEE CHMT Society on integrated optics, and is himself a patent holder.

 

Dr. Naumaan received his PH.D. and MS in electrical engineering from the University of Cincinnati and his BE in electronics from the University of Karachi in Pakistan.
